Its menu also includes fresh oysters and fresh fish.
If you want to take your experience in Shem Creek up a notch, enroll in NICO’s private oyster class. Here, you’ll learn how to shuck an oyster and the different methods used to harvest these delectable morsels. The Mill Street Tavern is one of the best places to enjoy American cuisine in Mount Pleasant as it offers breathtaking views of local marshes and boaters sailing by. The Mill Street Tavern serves brunch and dinner, with different menus for different times of the day. For brunch, I highly recommend the BBQ pulled pork nachos, spicy tuna salad, and the mill classic fried chicken. As for dinner, some of the restaurant’s best sellers include crispy fried oysters, pan-seared dumplings, and shrimp tempura rolls. They also serve different sandwiches, entrees, and desserts.
The Shelter Kitchen + Bar

Red’s Ice House
